The Course Theory and Practice of Electromagnetic Reverberation Chamber was delivered by Prof. Yi Huang from Liverpool University, UK. Prof. Huang was invited by graduate school of Xi'an Jiaotong University by 'international first-class scholar project' and EMC chapter, Xi'an Section, IEEE. It came to a successful ending after 32 hours.

Prof. Yi Huang, Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of IEE/IET.Deputy Head of High-Frequency Engineering Research Group and MSc Programme Director in Liverpool University. He has been conducting research in the areas of radio communications, applied electromagnetics, radar and antennas since 1987. He has published over 300 refereed papers, and authored books on Antennas: from Theory to Practice (John Wiley, 2008) and Reverberation Chambers (Wiley 2016).
The main contents of this course includes: introduction to Reverberation Chamber (RC), RC theory, RC design and evaluation, RC simulation, RC measurements and applications about how to test the shielding effectiveness and antenna efficiency in RC. During the course, Prof. Yi Huang introduced some other topics about wireless energy collection and transmission and fifth-generation communication technology, etc.Around 30 students attend the course and they benefit a lot from the course and wish to have more opportunities to communicate directly with first-class international scholars.
